Should I have a Male Eyelid LIft?

Answer:

If you have puffy bags beneath your eyes or feel your upper lids are droopy, eyelid surgery can take years off you and leave you looking more alert and awake. The solution may be a procedure on the upper or lower or both upper and lower eyelids together

What's involved in Male Eyelid Surgery Sydney?

Answer:

The male eyelid surgery will be performed under either a local or general anaethestic at your preferred hospital. Regardless of the location, this anaethestic will be performed by a member of the Australian Society of Anaethetists, hand selected by Dr Hunt.

Dr Hunt will then make tiny incisions along the natural lines of your upper or lower eyelids. Dr Hunt will then remove any excess fat, skin or muscle.

When can I go home after Eyelid Surgery for Men?

Answer:

You will usually be able to go home the same day as your eyelid surgery. You will be given a prescription for medication at this time, so that you can manage any pain once you get home.

Will I have to return for post-operative care after a Blepharoplasty Sydney?

Answer:

You will see Dr Hunt five days after your surgery, at which time the first of your sutures will be removed. You will then see Dr Hunt again a week later, to discuss your progress and remove the remainder of your sutures.

You’ll then have a series of follow up visits, to confirm that both you and Dr Hunt are happy with your results. These visits will happen at six weeks, and again at three, six and 12 months.

How long will I be off work after Blepharoplasty?

Answer:

You should plan on taking seven to 10 days off work.

When can I resume my normal activities after an Eyelid Lift for Men?

Answer:

When you get home from hospital, you should stay at home to rest with cold packs over your eyes. This will reduce any swelling and bruising, along with sleeping with your head elevated on two pillows.

You will be able to wash your face the day after your surgery, however should not over exert yourself until you are completely healed.

When will I see the end result of Male Eyelid Lift?

Answer:

You will see the full extent of your rejuvenated-looking eyes around three weeks after your surgery.
